Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has shared a cautionary tale about going on a date with a persistent suitor who ignored her relationship status. In an Instagram post, the actress recounted how the guy had been toasting her despite her telling him she was in a relationship. He insisted they go on a date and even bought things for her and her friends during a shopping spree. However, when it came time to pay, bad network connectivity prevented the man from making the payment. The attendant told Etiko that they would have embarrassed her if she weren’t a celebrity.

Etiko used the experience to caution other ladies about the dangers of going on a date with someone they aren’t interested in, as it could lead to embarrassing situations like the one she faced. In her video statement, she advised women to be firm about their boundaries and not compromise their values to please others.

Nollywood Actress Gbemi Anjola Passes On After A Prolong Battle With Cancer

Fast-rising Nollywood actress, Gbemi Anjola, has passed on after a prolong battle with cancer. The 33-year-old actress died on Friday, the 24th of March, 2023, after a prolong battle with ovarian cancer.

According to reports, a colleague revealed that the actress was diagnosed with the ailment in 2021. As a result of this, she traveled to Dubai, UAE for the chemotherapy which lasted about 6 months.

After her medical treatment in Dubai, she came back to Nigeria cancer-free. About a month ago, she began to complain of memory loss and a headache, she was taken to the hospital for check-ups.

At the hospital, she was asked to get a glass and some drugs.

Around 7pm on Friday, the 25th of March, 2023, the actress once again began to complain of a headache. She was rushed to the hospital, but, unfortunately, she was pronounced dead.

She went to Dubai for the chemotherapy for about six months and came back cancer-free. But for the past one month, she has been complaining of headaches and loss of memory, so we took her to the hospital.

They said that she would need one glass and some drugs which would cost about N500k, and I told her we didn’t need to post it, that it was something that we could arrange between us.

Yesterday, she was very fine, but around 7pm, she complained of a headache again and was rushed to the hospital where she passed away,” the colleague said.
